A\u00a0carrier organization is responsible for preparing and sending the volunteer abroad. The Austrian Service Abroad is a carrier organization. The contract is signed between the volunteer and the carrier organization (not between the volunteer and the organization of placement). This means that the volunteer is hired by the carrier organiazation and the carrier organization carries the responsibilities in terms of social security for and paying the subsidy\u00a0to the volunteer.\u00a0After the completion of a 10-month volunteering service via an accredited carrier organization the Republic of Austria cannot assign you to the military of national service anymore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
